I know just how you feel. I've only been blogging for a few months but sometimes I feel just like that "tree in the forest".

I tell myself that I didn't start to blog so that others would nod their head in agreement when reading what I write, but rather blogging should be a way for me to gather my thoughts, ideas and inspiration - my "personal learning environment".

I too find Will Richardson to be very inspiring - he's in my feedreader, and now so are you - I look forward to reading more of your ideas!

An inspiring blog entry. Your blogs have always been reflective and result in my being more reflective. Glad you are back. Your previous blog entry on Thoughtful Ed was also interesting. You're right, collaboration should have been taking place all along, but there has to be a safe environment that promotes that collaboration. The reason many teachers seclude themselves behind closed doors is sometimes fear and self preservation. Leaders have to encourage the behavior and many do not.
